Attorney Mary Lou Burns

Mary Lou Burns has spent the past 15 years helping her clients get their fresh start. She obtained her law license in 1999. She has focused her practice entirely on Chapter 7 & Chapter 13 bankruptcy since 2001.

Prior to becoming an Attorney, Mary Lou was in senior management in Corporate America, working in various facets, including banking, finance and marketing. Mary Lou received her MBA from The Ohio State University, and has also obtained her CPA license.

Feeling the desire to take a different path in her career, Mary Lou obtained her own "fresh start" by going to law school at an older age, seeking a career that afforded her an opportunity to help other people.

While practicing bankruptcy law, Mary Lou obtains satisfaction from helping people during this difficult period in their lives. She believes in treating her clients with dignity, respect & compassion throughout the process. Mary Lou gives each case the personal attention to detail it deserves.
